Experience Rita Gallaway provides training and consulting services through Accordence. As a Principal of a consulting firm, she trains, motivates and coaches client groups in the U.S and Canada in Negotiating Skills, Presentation Skills, Personal Branding, Time Management and Business Development. She also advises management on personnel, sales strategy and compensation plans. She has worked with such clients as Hewlett Packard, Cox Media, Comcast, NBC, CHUM, and CBS.
She also has 15 years of experience in the broadcast industry, including 7 years as Vice President National Sales at Univision, 3 years at Telerep San Francisco, 3 years at KSBY-TV as Local Account Executive and Local Sales Manager. Her focus on new business development and creative solutions with multiple media (TV, Radio and internet) demanded a concrete understanding of the psychology of sales and the mind of the customer.
As such, Ms. Gallaway has added sales training that serves broadcast media sales professionals to her repertoire. In addition, Ms. Gallaway has spoken to professional associations in the automotive, legal, grocery and banking categories and has experience developing and managing sales territories and cross-platform convergent sales.
She sits on the Board of Directors for Consorte Media and is a member of the Society of Industry Leaders. A Northern California native, Ms. Gallaway currently resides in San Francisco.
