September 23rd, 2021: Accordence Co-Founder Grande Lum joined Dr. Maya Soetoro in her series Bravethrough Live! with Dr. Maya Soetoro and Guests! The event was hosted live on Facebook and topics regarding community building were discussed.

September 25th, 2021: Accordence Co-Founder Grande Lum moderated the panel: A Moonshot Moment - Shifting Gears with SVS2021 Sculptors.

May 26th, 2021- Accordence Co-Founder Grande Lum shared an hour of insightful discovery, as he discussed how to re-connect within polarizing times. Bringing in his experience as a federal mediator for the Department of Justice and wisdom from his new book America’s Peacemakers: The Community Relations Service and Civil Rights, Grande offered ideas for resolving conflicts and de-escalating tense situations.

January 27, 2021 - CPR Awards Grande Lum with Outstanding Book in the Field of ADR:
America’s Peacemakers: The Community Relations Service and Civil Rights (The University of Missouri Press 2020), authored by the late Bertram Levine and Grande Lum, chronicles the history of the Community Relations Services office of the Justice Department. In this work, Lum expands upon the prior work of Levine to present a timely ADR perspective of the history of Civil Rights in the U.S. with a focus on events since 9/11.

December 10, 2020 - Accordence Founder Grande Lum was part of the CNI Roundtable, discussing the ability for “Bridging and Healing Across Racial Divides Post-Election 2020: The Role of Conflict—Resolution at the Cambridge Negotiation Institute

November 12, 2020 - Accordence Founder Grande Lum co-hosts a book launch celebration for his new book America’s Peacemakers: The Community Relations Service and Civil Rights. This second edition is co-authored by Bertram Levine and Grande, CRS’s Director from 2012 to 2016, provides an account of CRS contributions and challenges during its second twenty-five years of operation.
